Morning Meeting:
Duluth East High School Junior Rotarians Present -
Emily Ford
Join us Wednesday morning at 7:30am in the Great Hall - Kitchi Gammi Club (831 E Superior St., Duluth, MN 55802) as the Duluth East High School Junior Rotarians take over our meeting and present - Emily Ford!

You may recognize Emily Ford from one of her many adventures to make Minnesota news lately! Emily's list of incredible and inspiring accomplishments include being Glensheen Mansion's first female head gardener, being the first woman, person of color, and openly queer person to complete the 1200 mile journey on Wisconsin’s Ice Age Trail in the dead of winter, and most recently, she's taken up dog sledding.

Rotary Magazine - May Issue

More than 55 million people around the world today have Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. "It's horrible. It's the longest goodbye you'll ever have in your life," says Norm Rogers, who lost his wife, Nancy, to the disease and is working to try to spare others from that pain. For this month's cover story, Rotary magazine looks at the CART Fund, which supports Alzheimer's research, and the Rotarians behind it.

Click here to read the May 2023 issue. The link will take you to your digital copy, which you can read using any common web browser.

May is Youth Service Month for Rotary, and to mark the occasion we look back on 60 years of Interact. We'll take you inside some of the most remarkable Interact projects, and you'll hear directly from Interactors about how your club can benefit from collaborating with the next generation of Rotarians.

And finally, we can't wait to see you in Melbourne later this month for the 2023 Rotary International Convention. In this issue's "Where are they now?" feature, we introduce you to convention speaker Gregory Rockson, a Rotary Alumni Global Service Award winner who is changing health care in Africa. It's not too late to register.
