Lake Superior Brewing - Tour July 14th!
This Friday!

We have lined up a brewery tour exclusively for Harbortown Rotary at Lake Superior Brewing on July 14th!  The tour will begin at 3:30 p.m. and last for about 45 minutes, so there will be time for a beer and socializing before the weekend kicks off.

The tour is free, but it is important that we purchase a beer or growler to support this local business.

RSVP's will be taken for this event as it has been suggested that we keep the tour to 30 people. Register Online

Please contact Christian Koelling with any questions!

Thanks Camp Miller volunteers!

A small and very dedicated team of members traveled to Camp Miller for our annual hands-on work day on Jun 3rd. Projects included:  scraping / sanding picnic tables, painting 10 of them, building and replacing wood benches in and around the closing campfire ring (including digging post holes!)  and stacking firewood in the campfire area.  Work began around 9 am, the Camp staff provided lunch, and the day wrapped up about 3PM.

Honoring John Moline at the Center for Changing Lives

Harbortown Rotarians were in attendance at the Center for Changing Lives grand opening last week. We unveiled a portrait courtesy of Michelle Wegler, which serves as a tribute to the service of our friend and fellow Rotarian, the late John Moline.

Pat Finney brings us this great story . . .

Luis Gamarra received his Bachelor of Music and Music Business Mgmt in Boston recently.
On hand for commencement exercises and many celebrations were some of his Harbortown Rotary
Family members.  While in Duluth, Luis performed the US National Anthem at a UMD vs. U of MN
Hockey game, and sang publicly with one of the Duluth East Choirs – as well as any other time he
was invited to do so! Luis has moved to the Miami area and plans to make vocal performance his
full time occupation. Harbortown Rotary wishes him all the best!
