Junior Rotarian Morning Meeting
We are going to hold another all-Jr. Rotarian breakfast with the committee on February 14 at 7:15 AM at the Kitchi Gammi Club.
At this meeting, we will spend some time in small groups discussing your ideas and finalizing your $1,000 school project requests. We will also go over the meeting process and date selection for your May Morning Meeting Takeovers.
Counselors, it might be beneficial to schedule a WIN session this month for students to be able to discuss ideas.
Please RSVP to Charity Johnson ( if you are able to make the February 14th morning meeting. We will need to make sure we have plenty of food for all who attend!
Counselors, we would love to have you attend again as well!
When you arrive that morning at the Kitchi Gammi Club, please walk to the front desk and check the meeting location sign to find out what room we are in.
Thanks everyone!
Charity Johnson
Rotary Magazine - February

"The most virtuous war is the war against war." Paul Harris made that remark in a 1928 message to the Pacific Rotary Conference in Tokyo in which he warned of fear as the driving force that plunges nations into strife. Rotary's virtuous war against war — peacebuilding — is advancing with a new Rotary Peace Center for the Middle East and North Africa opening next year. In this issue of Rotary magazine, we look at how its graduates will become catalysts for peace.

February is Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention Month. Learn how you can get involved by recruiting candidates for Rotary Peace Fellowships at all of Rotary's peace centers. Our "Handbook" story lays out the application process.

Also this month, get to know Rotary President-elect Stephanie Urchick. One of her priorities? Healing a divided world through Positive Peace.

And in another of our feature stories, we take you to a unique vocational training program in California started by Rotary members to give classic cars a new life and young people a shot at a better future.
