Morning Meeting:

Mike Cochran - Duluth Rowing Club

Join us Wednesday morning at 7:30am in the Great Hall - Kitchi Gammi Club (831 E. Superior St., Duluth, MN 55805) as we hear from Mike Cochran about the Duluth Rowing Club!

Cochran will provide a brief history of the club founded in 1886 as the Duluth Boat Club. There was a period where the Duluth Boat Club dominated U.S competitive rowing, while providing members with many programs and facilities unrelated to rowing.

We will then learn about the current Duluth Rowing Club (DRC) with multiple programs and opportunities for anyone to be involved.

The DRC recently constructed a new rowing center that has allowed the club to expand membership and enrich the rowing programs!

Mark your calendars as the 2024 Duluth Harbortown Rotary Charitable Foundation's Golf Fundraiser to benefit the Robert Hermans Scholarship Fund and the Donald Holm Founders Fund is scheduled for JULY 8, 2024 at Ridgeview Country Club.

Bike Duluth Festival - THANK YOU!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered at the Bike Duluth Festival this past weekend. The festival was a huge success and could not have happened without all of the hard work put in by Harbortown and many other volunteers.

We had a great turnout for volunteers this year. Despite having to stop the races early on Saturday due to lightening, the energy was still positive throughout the entire day!

With the success of the festival, we can continue to give back to the community and the local bike trails.

If you are unable to confirm a speaker, please contact Lauren Farden (lauren.farden@edwardjones.com) for help. If you have a different assigned program duty and cannot make it to the meeting, please find a replacement.

Harbortown Rotary has a Windows 11 laptop. Presenters may bring a USB drive with the PowerPoint presentation (or whatever is wanted to be shown on the projector while speaking). Please share this information with your program's presenter.
