It's once again time for Harbortown's summer 'spruce up' at the YMCA's Camp Miller in Sturgeon Lake! Greg Wegler and Jim Wheeler are co-chairing the work day in special honor of a much admired and now deceased club member, Jeff Palmer.
The date is Saturday June 1st from 9AM to 4PM, and coffee and lunch is provided by the camp staff. The following are the projects that we'll tackle - as you can see there's something there for volunteers of all ages and skill sets, so bring your family or friends for a fun day at lakeside doing good deeds with good people!
- Painting benches, Mitchell siding
- Building benches for around the climbing wall, basketball court
- Repainting lines on basketball court and creating four square court lines
- Building bunks and storage units for the new Borealis Cabins, and install
- Raking
- Wood Chipping
- Filling first aid kits
- Garbage clean up
- Gardening
